Final Piece - Filming Locations

Scene 1 - 

Scene of robbery and chase beginnings;
Leaving the scene of the robbery. Will be filmed at Oscar's house and surrounding areas.

Chosen for typical scene of robbery that viewers could identify, and surrounding areas include tight paths, changes in elevation that could provide chances to capture Match-on action.


Scene 2 - 

Scene of the bulk of the chase and capture;
Cuckoo's Hollow and Grimeshaw Woods, Peterborough.

Chosen for dense woodland surroundings, and one long straight path that could provide and extreme long shot. also dynamic parts in the chase that can also provide match on action; jumping over logs, brooks etc.


Scene 3 - 

Interrogation;
Police car and Police Station.

The car can be used to gain mid and close up shots of the criminal's regrettable and angered facial expressions. The Police station interrogation room will be used to demonstrate the 180 degree rule between two characters and the aftermath of the robbery and chase. At the end will cut to Film Name, Company, etc.

UPDATE -  We have asked the police station via email if we could use their interrogation room for Scene 3, but we have been understandably denied permission. Instead, we are going to use a room in school that can replicate an interrogation room.

Characters :

Oscar – Criminal/Robber

Reuben – Policeman(chasing)

Curtis – Policeman(Interrogation)

Alexis – Secondary Criminal and Police Boss

Filming order:

Pre-flashback – (Scene #1) – Oscar and Reuben

Break in and chase –(Scene #2) – Curtis and Alexis filming

Main interrogation – (scene #3) Alexis filming during interrogation then Oscar filming during talk between cops and boss.

Location, location, location:

Interrogation scene – preferably police station (Oscar ask), Reuben check Tesco, back up is old drama studio.

Chase scene – Robbery happens at Reuben’s house, chase through streets and back alleys, run through someone's house and garden; climbs over fence

Props:

Desk lamp- Store or someone has one  -

Pens - anywhere

Bag – any ones

Masks/hoods – anywhere or buy from store

Walkie talkie or some other communicative tool – ask someone, toy ones from somewhere?

Hand cuffs – ask police, acquire toy ones (toys r us or something)

Papers and documents – anywhere

maybe torches - at least one of us has one(confirmed)

Costumes:

Reuben – smart wear (shirt, tie and trousers)

Oscar – casual wear (hoodie, every day trousers, mask or something)

Alexis – cop boss: smart wear (suit or something similar) Criminal: Hoodie, trackies and mask

Curtis – smart wear

Timing length: (possible)

Interrogation scenes – 45 seconds each

Chase scene – 1:30

Other notes:

. We will be having to spend money, not a lot but definitely some.

. We will have to organise meeting places and organise filming days

. Camera can be borrowed from Adam, IT Dept, or one of our own. Tripod may be required.
